Spring is in the air. I've packed away the thermals and the extra blanket. Spring is lovely in Sydney before the summer humidity sweeps in. My son's soccer season is done and dusted for another year, and he survived his first school trip to the snow without injuring himself (which was a relief, seeing as two other kids ended up in hospital, one with a broken ankle).

In the past month I've knuckled down to my writing and managed to finish the first draft of my secret writing project. I'm quite excited about this new genre I'm experimenting in!
